As we approach the High Holidays, we take time to remember our loved ones who are no longer with us in physicality. On Yom Kippur day, we recall our loved one’s memory by reciting their names during the Yizkor Prayer Service and by contributing tzedakah in their memory. Traditionally, we believe that the act of reading our loved one’s name symbolically draws them closer to us, while reciting prayers and giving charity in their name elevates their soul.
This is a special time to remember the love, courage, and sacrifice of those who came before us. The Society of Jewish Science appreciates your friendship, support, and generosity. We are profoundly grateful for your donation and are honored to be a part of recalling the memory of your loved one. We wish you and your loved ones peace, joy, and excellent health in the year 5786.
