In some ways, the world has changed radically since then. The pace of technology can make our lives more fractured and frenetic. The 24/7 news cycle (plus social media) means it’s harder to disconnect from the fear-mongering to hear the still, small voice that is our unfailing Source.
In other ways, it’s the same. We still have a need to belong. We all want to feel welcome. And we all benefit from a steady diet of the good stuff: joy, peace, strength, and trust.
As we look ahead to the next 100 years, we’re proud to see that MAKOR has become a growing, vibrant, and collaborative environment which cultivates that good stuff. Our numbers continue to increase as the interest people take in spiritual life is increasing. So along with the increase in guests, there’s an increase in the need to accommodate them. Our team of devoted staff needs to grow—as do our wonderful facilities.
